Utilize the Power of Short Phrases
People today don't have the time and motivation to read long texts anymore. Long phrases tend to dissolve very quickly within the massive sea of content and the attention span is now very short. To capture attention and get your point across you must condense your messages in short phrases.
Slogans are one of your best options!
A good slogan can have a very strong impact on your targets. It improves your image, sets you apart from the competition and helps customers memorize your brand.
But beware! A bad or cheesy slogan can damage your reputation, professional image and credibility. Have a look at the following examples of bad slogans to better understand what I'm talking about...
Examples of Bad Food Slogans
Examples of slogans that some food businesses are using for their branding.
Eat fried and fresh.
This phrase is inded related to food, but it's not a slogan, it's just a call to action. Moreover, it's too generic. Any food company that offers fried food can claim the same. There is nothing unique or memorable about this slogan.
Instant Food, for Instant Hunger.
I'm not sure what instant hunger is. Besides, what if my hunger is not instant but an all day hunger? Should I look for food somewhere else? This funny call to action can be fine for a headline or ad, but not as a business slogan.
Choose the Quality of Food.
Most people would choose to eat high quality food. I'm not aware of people looking for low quality food. So I'm not sure what this business means by choosing the quality of food. I don't think it makes enough sense to be used as a business slogan.
We like to eat well.
How can this phrase be a business slogan? Why would the company's customers care that the owners like to eat well? And by the way, are there any food business owners who don't like to eat well?
