  • The navigation menu is much too basic. Since the homepage includes content that doesn't belong to a homepage, you can add more links to the navigation bar and transfer sections from the homepage to new inner pages. It will be much more effective.
  • Both the business logo and the "home" link are used to target the homepage. This is not good practice because it creates duplication problems. The standard today is to use the logo as the home link.
  • The homepage's content is much too long. Most of the content on this page belongs to the inner pages. Just think of the endless scrolling mobile users will have to go through!
  • There is no need to describe your services on the homepage. You have a dedicated services page for this purpose. You can feature a few main services or benefits, but take off the descriptions.
  • Google gave your homepage a speed score of only 50/100. This is a low score, which means that the page is slow. Slow web pages can affect your search rankings.
  • "We have served the Catskill mountains of New York and surrounding areas for many years". It would be a good idea to replace this opening line with a more confident and persuasive phrase. For example: "Catskill Pressure Washing is your best choice for specialized pressure washing services in…" or, "Catskill Pressure Washing is a premier pressure washing company, specializing in highly professional…"
  • On desktops, the content of the FAQ section uses the entire page width. It's obviously a coding mistake. Keep in mind that it's very difficult to read wide lines of text on large screens.
